Canadian Dental Care Plan Near You
Bow Trail Dental believes that everyone needs to have access to quality dental care; therefore, we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) to help make dental treatments more affordable for eligible Canadians.
You will be eligible for CDCP if your family income is below $90,000 annually and you do not have any kind of private dental insurance. This is a government program that helps cover a portion of your dental costs so that you and your family can receive the care you need without financial stress.
What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
The CDCP aims to assist families with low and mid-level incomes with dental costs. The extent of coverage depends on income:
- Households earning under $70,000: Pay only the difference between the CDCP coverage and the set dental fees.
- Households earning $70,000–$79,999: Cover 40% of dental costs.
- Households earning $80,000–$89,999: Cover 60% of dental costs.
While the CDCP helps reduce dental expenses, it doesn’t cover all treatments. Some procedures may have additional costs depending on the type of care needed.

We Welcome CDCP Patients!
At Bow Trail Dental, we are proud to accept CDCP benefits for eligible children, seniors, and adults. Whether it’s your child’s first dental visit or you’re a senior seeking ongoing care, we’re here to help. You can expect our team to guide you through the process, explain what’s covered, and ensure that you get the optional dental care possible. A healthy smile is important at every stage of life, and that is why we concentrate on offering stress-free, inexpensive dental services to our patients.
Why CDCP Matters?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) assists individuals in obtaining the dental care they require. Here’s how it benefits you and your family:
- Makes dental care more affordable: It assists in paying for some of the dental expenses, so you don’t have to worry about high bills. This means you can go to the dentist when you need to without worrying about the dental expense.
- Focuses on prevention: It includes check-ups, cleaning, preventive treatments, and more, which will help address small problems while they are still small.
- Overall improved health: Healthy teeth and gums help to prevent other illnesses that can affect the whole body.
- Support the seniors: The elderly or seniors can afford to have their treatments done with CDCP for Seniors, and this helps them maintain strong teeth and a healthy smile.
